JATIMTIMES - Pemerintah melalui Kementerian Kesehatan resmi memberlakukan kebijakan baru yang mewajibkan pelaku usaha makanan dan minuman mencantumkan informasi kadar nutrisi, khususnya gula, pada setiap produk yang dijual ke masyarakat.
Aturan ini diumumkan langsung oleh Menteri Kesehatan, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, sebagai langkah konkret untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pola konsumsi yang lebih sehat.

Kebijakan tersebut tertuang dalam Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan (KMK) Nomor HK.01.07/MENKES/301/2026 yang diterbitkan pada Selasa (14/4/2026). Fokus utamanya adalah memberikan informasi yang lebih transparan kepada konsumen terkait kandungan nutrisi dalam makanan dan minuman siap saji.
Menurut Budi, edukasi menjadi kunci penting agar masyarakat dapat lebih bijak dalam memilih produk yang dikonsumsi sehari-hari.
“Perlu dilakukan upaya melalui penyampaian informasi dan edukasi agar masyarakat dapat lebih mudah memilih pangan siap saji yang tepat dan sehat sesuai kebutuhannya,” ujarnya, dikutip dari situs resmi Kementerian Kesehatan, Kamis (16/4).
Kementerian Kesehatan menyoroti tingginya konsumsi GGL (gula, garam, dan lemak) yang berkaitan erat dengan berbagai penyakit serius. Mulai dari obesitas, hipertensi, penyakit jantung, stroke, hingga diabetes tipe 2.
Bahkan, dampaknya juga terlihat pada lonjakan biaya kesehatan. Data menunjukkan, pembiayaan untuk penyakit gagal ginjal meningkat drastis lebih dari 400 persen, dari Rp2,32 triliun pada 2019 menjadi Rp13,38 triliun pada 2025.
Dalam kebijakan ini, pelaku usaha skala besar diwajibkan mencantumkan label “Nutri Level” pada produk mereka, terutama untuk kategori makanan dan minuman siap saji seperti boba, kopi susu, teh tarik, hingga jus.
Label Nutri Level dibagi menjadi empat kategori yang mudah dipahami masyarakat:
• Level A (Hijau Tua): Kandungan nutrisi paling sehat
• Level B (Hijau Muda): Relatif sehat
• Level C (Kuning): Perlu dibatasi
• Level D (Merah): Kandungan tinggi, perlu diwaspadai
Label ini tidak hanya dicantumkan pada kemasan, tetapi juga wajib ditampilkan di berbagai media seperti daftar menu, brosur, hingga platform pemesanan makanan digital.
Pada tahap awal penerapan, kebijakan ini belum diberlakukan untuk pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM), seperti warteg, pedagang kaki lima, maupun restoran kecil.

Langkah ini diambil agar pelaku usaha kecil memiliki waktu untuk beradaptasi sebelum aturan diberlakukan secara lebih luas.
Dengan adanya label Nutri Level, Kementerian Kesehatan berharap masyarakat bisa lebih sadar terhadap apa yang mereka konsumsi. Transparansi informasi ini diharapkan mampu menekan angka penyakit kronis yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya.
