Tebing 15 Meter di Kota Batu Ambrol Timpa Kandang Warga

JATIMTIMES - Hujan deras yang mengguyur wilayah Kota Batu memicu bencana tanah longsor di Dusun Brau, Desa Gunungsari, Kecamatan Bumiaji, pada Minggu (12/4/2026) sore. Peristiwa tersebut menyebabkan tebing setinggi 15 meter ambrol, menimpa kandang sapi milik warga setempat.

Longsor terjadi akibat intensitas hujan tinggi yang membuat struktur tanah menjadi jenuh dan labil. Material tanah dengan panjang sekitar 7 meter dan lebar 4 meter runtuh dari tebing dan langsung menghantam bangunan kandang milik Sugianto.

Beruntung, tidak ada korban jiwa dalam kejadian ini, meski sejumlah rumah warga di sekitar lokasi dilaporkan dalam kondisi rawan terdampak. Kepala Pelaksana BPBD Kota Batu, Suwoko, mengatakan bahwa pihaknya segera bergerak cepat setelah menerima laporan kejadian.

“Longsor dipicu hujan dengan intensitas tinggi yang menyebabkan tanah menjadi jenuh dan tidak stabil. Saat ini kami telah melakukan kaji cepat di lokasi, berkoordinasi dengan perangkat desa dan relawan, serta melakukan pembersihan material longsor,” kata Suwoko, Senin (13/4/2026).

Ia menambahkan, meski tidak menimbulkan korban jiwa, kondisi di sekitar lokasi masih berpotensi terjadi longsor susulan, terutama jika hujan kembali turun dengan intensitas tinggi. Terlebih terdapat rumah warga yang berada di area rawan.

“Sehingga kami mengimbau masyarakat untuk tetap waspada. Penanganan darurat seperti pemasangan terpal juga diperlukan untuk mengurangi risiko longsor susulan,” tambahnya.

Sejumlah unsur terlibat dalam penanganan bencana ini, di antaranya BPBD Kota Batu, perangkat Desa Gunungsari, Agen Informasi Bencana Provinsi Jawa Timur, relawan, serta warga setempat yang turut bergotong royong membersihkan material longsor pada malam harinya.

Pihaknya juga merekomendasikan tindak lanjut pascabencana, termasuk pemberian bantuan logistik untuk kerja bakti serta dukungan penanganan darurat untuk menjaga keselamatan warga di sekitar lokasi terdampak.
