Orang nomor satu di lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Malang itu juga menekankan, inovasi, kreativitas serta pemanfaatan teknologi modern di sektor pertanian sangat diperlukan agar sektor pertanian semakin maju, efisien dan berdaya saing.
Menurut Sanusi, sektor pertanian hingga saat ini masih menjadi tulang punggung perekonomian Kabupaten Malang. Karena itu, Pemkab Malang terus berkomitmen untuk mendorong peningkatan produktivitas pertanian, kesejahteraan petani, serta penguatan ketahanan pangan daerah.
"Saya mengajak seluruh elemen masyarakat untuk terus berinovasi dalam mengelola potensi pertanian yang kita miliki," kata Sanusi.
Lebih lanjut, pihaknya juga mengapresiasi upaya PAC GP Ansor Kecamatan Turen yang telah berupaya melakukan pengembangan inovasi padi varietas sukma yang bisa mencapai 33 samapai 35 ton dalam sekali panen.
"Kegiatan ini bukan sekadar panen hasil pertanian, tetapi juga merupakan panen dari kerja keras, kebersamaan, serta semangat gotong royong yang luar biasa," ujar Sanusi.
Pejabat publik yang memiliki latar belakang sebagai petani ini menyebut, apa yang telah dilakukan para pengurus dan kader PAC GP Ansor Turen ini patut dijadikan contoh bahwa pemuda tidak hanya berperan dalam kegiatan sosial dan keagamaan, tetapi juga mampu hadir dan berkontribusi nyata di sektor produktif, khususnya pertanian.
"Apa yang dilakukan oleh GP Ansor Turen ini menjadi bukti bahwa regenerasi petani itu nyata dan harus terus kita dukung bersama," ungkap Sanusi.
Melalui momentum panen raya padi sukma ini, Sanusi mengajak seluruh elemen masyarakat untuk terus menjaga semangat kebersamaan dan memperkuat sinergi antara pemerintah, organisasi kemasyarakatan, serta para petani. "Semoga hasil panen ini membawa keberkahan, meningkatkan kesejahteraan para petani, serta memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat luas," tandas Sanusi.

Sementara itu, Ketua PAC GP Ansor Kecamatan Turen Fatkhurrozi mengatakan, pihaknya menyewa lahan pertanian di wilayah Kelurahan Sedayu seluas tiga hektare. Di mana dari luasan lahan tersebut, pihaknya menanami padi sukma. Setidaknya setiap satu hektare lahan padi, bisa menghasilkan 11 ton lebih. Sehingga total hasil panen diperkirakan mencapai 33 ton sampai 35 ton.
"Lahan yang dikelola oleh PAC GP Ansor Turen ini seluas 3 hektare. Per hektare itu menghasilkan rata-rata 11 ton, sehingga hasilnya sekitar 33 sampai 35 ton sekali panen," tutur Fatkhurrozi.
Menurut dia, keberhasilan ini menjadi pengalaman perdana para kader PAC GP Ansor Kecamatan Turen dalam mengelola tanaman padi, setelah sebelumnya pihaknya bersama para kader telah mencoba pengembangan komoditas pertanian yakni jagung.
"Ini kali pertama kami mengelola padi, sebelumnya sempat menanam jagung. Alhamdulillah, untuk yang ini hasilnya sangat sukses," imbuh Fatkhurrozi.
Pihaknya mengatakan, bahwa seluruh proses pengelolaan dilakukan oleh kader PAC GP Ansor Kecamatan Turen secara mandiri. Para kader tidak hanya terlibat dalam proses produksi, tetapi juga mendapatkan upah. Sehingga program ini tidak hanya berorientasi pada hasil panen, melainkan juga pada pemberdayaan internal organisasi.
"Melalui kegiatan panen raya ini, diharapkan sinergi antara pemerintah daerah dan organisasi kepemudaan dapat terus terjalin dengan baik dalam upaya membangun kemandirian ekonomi berbasis sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Malang," pungkas Fatkhurrozi.
