JATIMTIMES - Memakai bulu mata palsu satuan atau cluster lashes kini semakin populer karena bisa memberi efek mata lebih tebal namun tetap natural. Namun banyak orang masih bingung, apakah sebaiknya bulu mata palsu dipasang dari atas bulu mata asli atau dari bawah.

Makeup artist Pao Hilda Afiani membagikan pengalamannya mengenai dua teknik tersebut melalui konten tutorial. Menurut dia, kedua cara sebenarnya sama-sama bisa menghasilkan tampilan yang cantik, hanya saja ada perbedaan hasil akhir dan tingkat kesulitannya.

Pao menjelaskan, teknik memasan bulu mata dari bawah bisa membuat hasil terlihat lebih menyatu dengan bulu mata asli. "Kalau dari bawah tuh tetap rapi dan lebih nyatu sama bulu mata asli,” ungkap Pao.

Namun ia mengakui, metode ini tidak selalu mudah dilakukan oleh semua orang. Beberapa pemula kerap mengalami kesulitan saat menempelkan bulu mata dari bawah karena posisi yang lebih dekat dengan mata. “Ada yang kesulitan karena takut kecolok atau belum terbiasa,” imbuh Pao.

Dalam tutorialnya, Pao menyarankan agar bulu mata asli terlebih dulu dijepit lalu diberi maskara tipis yang tidak terlalu memberikan volume agar bentuk bulu mata palsu tidak berubah. Setelah itu, lem dioleskan pada akar cluster lashes sebelum ditempelkan secara perlahan dari bagian bawah bulu mata.

Sementara itu, teknik dari atas dinilai lebih mudah dilakukan, terutama bagi pemula. Caranya dengan menempelkan bulu mata palsu sedekat mungkin dengan akar bulu mata asli dari bagian atas.

Meski demikian, teknik ini memiliki kekurangan pada tampilan akhirnya. "Minusnya kalau ditaruh dari atas itu kadang ada ‘jingjet’, jadi kelihatan ada perpisahan antara bulu mata asli sama yang palsu,” jelas Pao.

Meski demikian, Pao menegaskan bahwa dari jarak jauh kedua teknik tersebut sebenarnya tetap terlihat sama cantiknya. "Kalau dari jauh sih tetap sama saja cakepnya,” terang Pao.

Ia pun menyarankan pengguna makeup untuk mencoba kedua teknik tersebut dan memilih mana yang paling nyaman serta sesuai dengan kebutuhan tampilan.
