JATIMTIMES - NIK atau Nomor Induk Kependudukan adalah nomor identitas resmi yang dimiliki setiap Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI). Nomor ini biasanya tercatat dalam Kartu Keluarga (KK) atau Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP). Untuk memastikan NIK selalu valid dan terdaftar di Ditjen Dukcapil Kemendagri, perlu dilakukan pengecekan secara berkala.

Hingga berita ini ditulis, "cara cek NIK KTP online" menjadi trending dalam penelusuran Google. Banyak warganet yang mencari tahu cara cek status NIK KTP secara online. Berikut ini beberapa cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk cek status NIK KTP:

1. Melalui Website Lapor Kemendagri

Cara pertama untuk cek NIK KTP adalah melalui situs Lapor Kemendagri dengan alamat [kemendagri.lapor.go.id](https://kemendagri.lapor.go.id). Langkah-langkahnya:

   - Buka alamat situs di browser.

   - Pilih menu "Sampaikan Laporan Anda".

   - Klik "Permintaan Informasi".

   - Ikuti instruksi yang diberikan untuk mengisi informasi yang diperlukan.

2. Melalui Telepon Hallo Dukcapil

Masyarakat yang ingin mengecek apakah NIK terdaftar di Ditjen Dukcapil atau tidak dapat menghubungi layanan telepon Hallo Dukcapil di nomor 1500537.

3. Melalui WhatsApp Hallo Dukcapil

Ditjen Dukcapil juga menyediakan layanan melalui WhatsApp di nomor 08118005373. Caranya:

   - Buka aplikasi WhatsApp dan tambahkan kontak Hallo Dukcapil.

   - Ketik "Menu" pada halaman obrolan.

   - Pilih opsi "Pengaduan" untuk melanjutkan.

4. Melalui Direct Message Twitter dan Facebook Dukcapil

Masyarakat juga bisa memanfaatkan fitur direct message (DM) di media sosial Dukcapil, yakni:

   - Twitter: [@ccdukcapil](https://twitter.com/ccdukcapil)

   - Facebook: [cc.dukcapil](https://facebook.com/cc.dukcapil)

5. Melalui Call Center

Selain cara-cara di atas, Anda juga bisa menghubungi call center Dukcapil melalui email di callcenter@dukcapil.kemendagri.go.id.

6. Melalui SMS

Cara terakhir yang bisa dilakukan untuk cek NIK adalah melalui SMS ke layanan Hallo Dukcapil di nomor 08118005373. Kirim pesan dengan format:

   Cek#KTP#NIK
